Rap trivia fanatics out there will no doubt remember that some of the buzz surrounding this group was due to the fact that Eddie Murphy’s step-brother Vernon Lynch Jr was one of the emcees (Dave Chappelle collaborator and Eddie’s actual brother Charlie Murphy executive produced the project and also wrote some lyrics on the Posse’s self-titled debut album).
