Get Ya Weight Up – Styles P

December 3, 2007 · Leave a Comment

A little last minute pre-fight hype from Styles P courtesy of the Come Up DVD crew before his new album drops tomorrow (plus some thugged-out dietary tips).

Regardless of your opinion of The Ghost as an artist, you have to give him props for actually talking realistically about his last project, “Time Is Money”.

In a rap world where every emcee swears blind they always have the “hottest sh*t”, it’s refreshing to actually hear someone like Styles keeping their feet on the ground and facing up to the fact that maybe their last joint wasn’t exactly essential listening.

Let’s hope the new album finds the Lox lyricist taking it back to the flavour of 2002’s “A Gangster And A Gentleman”, with the Jagged Edge / Akon type collabos heard on “Time Is Money” left on the studio floor.
